A 1995 Lincoln cent pulled from a bank-wrapped roll showing convincing mechanical (machine) doubling on the reverse lettering. The doubling appears dramatic under direct light, but angled lighting reveals flat, shelf-like characteristics typical of non–die-related doubling.
